WOLF EYES: 25 YEARS OF CHAOS
The institution on the experimental DIY scene celebrates 25 years of existence with the release of Dreams in Splattered Lines via Warp’s imprint and a world tour, the only Polish stop of which will be the Warsaw show on November 16!
Wolf Eyes is a band from Michigan. Founded in the fall of 1996 by Nate Young. They are known for their idiosyncratic approach to music, creating sounds that are both disturbing and hypnotic. The band has released several hundred (!) albums and EPs on labels such as: Sub Pop, American Tapes, Bulb Records, Troubleman Unlimited, Hanson Records Gods of Tundra, AA Records and Third Man.
They collaborated, among others with Anthony Braxton, Merzbow, Sonic Youth, Black Dice, Prurient, Double Leopards, John Wiese and Andrew W.K.
With their intense and bizarre live performances, Wolf Eyes has earned a reputation as one of the most terrifying and weird bands in the world. Wolf Eyes is currently John Olson and Nate Young. They have been performing together for over 20 years.
